The Road to IPO event will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.

The first half of the event will be an IPO workshop to educate Hawaii’s entrepreneurs and investors on the factors behind the recent increase in IPO activity in the US markets and to provide a discussion forum for entrepreneurs to learn from experienced NASDAQ market experts, venture capitalists and company executives how to prepare their companies for an IPO.

The second half of the workshop will be a Venture Capital Pitch Competition where three Hawaii companies will compete for the grand prize of an all expenses paid networking week in Silicon Valley where they will meet with potential investors and attend tech and VC related functions (Grand Prize includes travel to Silicon Valley for two, accommodation 6 nights, pre-arranged meetings with Venture Capital investors, sessions with VC consultants and registration for VC related conferences/workshops).
